Marvel Unveils New Doctor Strange Poster

Doctor Strange is about to turn the Marvel Cinematic Universe upside-down.

The upcoming flick starring Benedict Cumberbatch will introduce a magical element to the MCU, and the new poster shows the good doctor walking through a world filled with multiple landscapes. Check it out below via Marvel UK.

If you're not familiar with the legendary Marvel character, Doctor Strange is an expert surgeon who suffers nerve damage that robs him of his purpose in life until a mystical being teaches him to become the newly designated Sorcerer Supreme.Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige told Entertainment Weekly that the movie will showcase some of the supernatural powers that Doctor Strange wields. "He can create portals that will open before your eyes that he can step through and go to other places around the world," Feige said. "And frankly, even in this film, we'll only touch upon what a lot of his powers are."

Marvel recently released a sneak peek behind the scenes of the film, which co-stars Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, along with Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
