New Avengers: Infinity War Clip Features Cast Interviews, Behind-The-Scenes Footage

If the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's heroes are a family, does that make Thanos their creepy uncle or their strict stepfather?

Marvel Studios rolled out an extra-special Avengers: Infinity War featurette, entitled "Family," that gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming film and features some heartwarming mini interviews with the movie's stars.

In the video, the cast jokes around on set — Chris Pratt's Star-Lord insists that he's just as muscular as Dave Bautista's Drax the Destroyer, which causes Bautista and directors Joe and Anthony Russo to let out a few giggles — and gushes about how much they enjoy working with each other, particularly the actors who get to collaborate with other stars outside of their tiny corner of the MCU.

Pratt is seen pairing up with Chris Hemsworth, better known as Thor, the Asgardian God of Thunder, to talk about how wonderful shooting Avengers: Infinity War together has been. "Here we on the set of Avengers, I've been lucky enough, along with other Guardians of the Galaxy, to join up with the Avengers and be here and get an opportunity to save the world," Pratt says in the featurette. Hemsworth then chimes in, "Does this make you an Avenger now as well?" The Star-Lord actor remains expectedly coy in saying that he's "maybe like a third-string Avenger" to Hemsworth's "founding member" of the superhero squad.

Doctor Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch, later jokes that he had been looking forward to working with Pratt on Avengers: Infinity War because he seemed like a fun-loving, funny dude, but he was actually "proven wrong" on that front. "He was arduous and boring and not particularly funny," Cumberbatch quips with a smirk.

Robert Downey Jr., known on screen as Iron Man, had nicer things to say about Cumberbatch, revealing that he ended up becoming "kind of infatuated" with the actor. Downey Jr. is also seen standing with his fellow Iron Man franchise stars Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays Pepper Potts, and Jon Favreau, who portrays Happy Hogan. "You know, out of all the people that I've had the good fortune to work with, these two particular guys and the triumvirate that we formed together — it's a very special friendship and a decade-plus of time together," Paltrow lauds in the clip. Downey Jr. caps off her sentiment in saying, "Go team!"

Black Panther actress Danai Gurira, who plays Okoye, then dishes up her appreciation for fellow MCU star Elizabeth Olsen, who made her debut as Scarlet Witch in an uncredited cameo in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, later appearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War.

"Working with Lizzy has been really, really awesome," says Gurira. "I think there is something very powerful about being able to play women who do heroic things and those women are so awesome, so we've had a really good time."

Downey Jr. wraps up the featurette on a touching note: "This has literally been the adventure of a lifetime. I get a little misty thinking about it. So, you know, I lucked out."

Sprinkled in between these moments of sentimentality are never-before-seen looks at Avengers: Infinity War, including some cool shots of new character combinations. Check it all out above.

Here's a peek at what the heroes will get up to in Avengers: Infinity War: "As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment, the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain."

Avengers: Infinity War will open in theaters on April 27.
