Incredibles 2: New TV Spot Sees Bob And Helen Swap Superhero Jobs

Disney-Pixar's newest Incredibles 2 television spot proves that not even superheroes have an easy time raising a baby — or saving the world.

The latest peek at the long-awaited follow-up to 2004's The Incredibles sees Bob Parr (Craig T. Nelson) trading parental duties and superhero jobs with his wife Helen (Holly Hunter). While Bob, known in the bad guy-busting world as Mr. Incredible, tries his best to keep his angsty and raging teenage daughter Violet (Sarah Vowell) calm, his rambunctious eldest son Dash (Huck Milner) out of trouble, and his bouncing baby Jack-Jack from destroying every square inch of their house with his burgeoning powers, Helen suits up as Elastigirl and takes to the streets to battle The Underminer (John Ratzenberger).

Check it out at the bottom of this article.

Written and directed by Brad Bird (Iron Giant, The Incredibles), with John Walker (The Incredibles) and Nicole Grindle (Sanjay's Super Team, Toy Story 3) on board as producers, Incredibles 2 touts a pretty stellar voice cast, including Samuel L. Jackson as Lucius Best (a.k.a. Frozone), Jonathan Banks as Rick Dicker, Bob Odenkirk as Winston Deavor, Catherine Keener as Evelyn Deavor, Sophia Bush as Voyd, and Isabella Rossellini as The Ambassador. Bird reprises his voice role as Edna Mode, the iconic fashion designer for the Supers and a close friend to the Parr family.

Here's what to expect from Incredibles 2: "Everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2 – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of 'normal' life. It's a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again — which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible."

Incredibles 2 will soar into cinemas on June 15.
