Hotel Transylvania 3 Trailer: Dracula Goes Cruising For Love

Dracula may be in for the most terrifying journey of his extremely long life: he's ready to start dating.

Sony Pictures Animation released the official trailer for Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, the latest installment in the hugely successful franchise, and it takes the whole gang to the high seas for a bright and colorful cruise. Of course, there's a reason they leave their lodging business behind.

Set six years after the events of 2015's Hotel Transylvania 2, the movie finds Dracula (voiced again by Adam Sandler) starting to realize there's a gaping hole in his heart — well, where his heart should be. That prompts his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez) to book a trip for the entire family (both human and monster) on a luxury Monster Cruise Ship.

Although skeptical about finding love, Dracula quickly falls for the ship's mysterious captain Ericka (Kathryn Hahn). But there's far more to Ericka than it seems: she's secretly the descendent of Abraham Van Helsing (Jim Gaffigan), the famous monster hunter and Dracula's ancient archenemy. As Dracula gets pulled into danger, it's up to Mavis to lead the "Drac Pack" and stop Ericka before it's too late.

Again directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, who helmed the first two movies, Hotel Transylvania 3 boasts an all-star supporting cast including Mel Brooks as Dracula's father, Andy Samberg as Mavis' husband Johnny, Kevin James as Frankenstein, Steve Buscemi as the werewolf Wayne, David Spade as Griffin the Invisible Man, Keegan-Michael Key as Murray the mummy, Fran Drescher as Frankenstein's wife Eunice, and Molly Shannon as Wayne's wife Wanda.

Slap on lots of sunscreen and look for Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation to arrive in theaters on July 13.
