Meet The Dinosaur Protection Group In New Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Featurette

Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) is on a mission to save the dinosaurs in a new featurette for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The featurette shows what Claire has been up to since the events of Jurassic World, revealing that she is the founder of the Dinosaur Protection Group.

"So many people loved Jurassic World, and when you say to them, 'when was the first time you saw a dinosaur,' I mean you just see them light up," Claire says in the featurette, a commercial encouraging people to get involved with the DPG. "My mission in life is to ensure the safety and protection of these animals."

"What are you going to do to make sure that your children have the same experience that you did?" Claire continues. "You can help ensure their survival... Are you going to be a part of the generation who decided to have dinosaurs go extinct or will you be on board with making sure that dinosaurs can stay alive for future generations? We must save the dinosaurs."

Joining Claire in her mission to save the dinosaurs are paleo-veterinarian Zia Rodriguez (Danielle Pineda) and systems analyst Franklin Webb (Justice Smith). Zia is said to have been studying at Berkeley when the incident at the park caused her to give up on her dream of taking an internship at Jurassic World. Franklin, meanwhile, is "an expert on all things to do with computers and the internet."

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will feature Claire and Chris Pratt's Owen returning to Isla Nublar, where the dinosaurs now roam free, to save the rare creatures from extinction in an impending volcanic eruption. The movie, which was directed by J.A. Bayona based on a script from Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, also stars B.D. Wong, James Cromwell, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chapman, Isabella Sermon, Jeff Goldblum, and Ted Levine.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters on June 22.
